Acclaimed Singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer Offers a Live Concert Filled with Heart, Healing and Hope for Hard Times.
Carrie invites listeners to join in the celebration of her newest recording, Live at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater (Sept 15, 2017). This heart-opening and life-giving concert was recorded Oct. 16, 2016, at the historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater in Carrie's hometown of Bloomington, Indiana. Many of the songs performed and recorded during the concert were on The Beautiful Not Yet, as well as a few favorites from albums past. Newcomer's concerts are celebrations, exuberant and uplifting yet intimate and personal. Audience members were treated to an evening of Newcomer's most beloved songs performed with an exceptionally talented collection musical collaborators. The recording was exceptionally engineered by Newcomer's longtime collaborator David Weber. The show was beautifully filmed by WFYI as a Public Television Concert Special (info here) and now is available in audio format.
