Last night I played a concert for peace in the southern music city of Chennai in honor of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday which is a national holiday. It is lovely that Gandhi is so treasured and revered. Non violence has played such an enormously important roll here, as it did with Martin Luther King and the US civil rights movement. The greatest revolution is a change of heart. This I believe.

Today I will be visiting the Happy Home School for the Blind. This is a wonderful school in Mumbai that works with children with seeing impairments many coming from disadvantaged backgrounds. There is a wonderful music program there & I'll be performing & meeting with music students. Everywhere I go there are people working hard to help and make the world just a little kinder place. This my friends gives me hope
